Prosegur Smart is the Prosegur app and the easiest, simplest way to manage your alarm from any location.


How you're protected by a Prosegur alarm

When the alarm is triggered:

  1. A signal is sent immediately to our Alarm Monitoring Centre (CRA). 
  2. The CRA checks that it isn't a false alarm.
  3. If necessary, we inform the Police.
  4. And if you're covered under the Acuda service, one of our security guards will soon arrive at the site of the alarm.

 

   For peace of mind that all calls from the Prosegur CRA are genuine, we'll always call you from the same number:  911 753 650 

We recommend saving this number in your mobile phone so you know it is us who is calling and that it is very important to respond to the call. Please also give this number to your chosen contacts in the event of an alarm, as we will call these people if the alarm is triggered and we cannot reach you.

Your password and countersign

Your password is our way of confirming your identity, so we know we are definitely speaking with you and not an intruder. The countersign is your way of confirming that you are definitely speaking with Prosegur.

 

  We have recently sent you a text message with your password and countersign. Please change these as soon as possible; it's easy to do on the Prosegur Smart app or the Customer Portal. + info

Memorise your password, as we'll ask you for it each time we contact you.

The Contact Plan

Your contacts are the people we will call if the alarm is triggered. We'll start by calling your primary contact and, if we cannot reach them, we'll call your other contacts in the order chosen by you.

  It is VERY IMPORTANT to keep these contact details up to date. It is the only way we can notify you of incidents with your alarm. Updating them is easy with the Prosegur Smart app. + info

 



 

When we will contact you

Our mission is constant vigilance and for you to be disturbed as little as possible.

These are the main events you will be contacted about:

  • Alarm triggered: 
    Whenever the alarm is triggered at your property (due to theft, technical signals or emergencies), we will call you to confirm the incident. If we are unable to contact you, we will call one of your contacts. If necessary, we will immediately call the Police or the Acuda service (if applicable).
  • Power cut: 
    We will inform you if there has been a power cut and ask you to check your electrical system.

  • ADSL connection fault: 
    We will contact you to report an ADSL connection fault and ask you to check your ADSL line.
  • Alarm test: 
    We perform regular online tests to check your alarm is working properly. If we detect any errors, we'll contact you straight away.

Remember:

  1. Always activate your alarm so we can protect you.
  2. Manage your alarm from anywhere with the Prosegur Smart app.
  3. Memorise your password.
  4. Keep your contacts up to date.

Prosegur Smart

With Prosegur Smart, you can manage your alarm whenever you like from wherever you like.
You can do this from the website or the app.

 

If you haven't done so already, the first step is to log in to Prosegur Smart using the password and user name sent to you by email. For your own security, make sure you change your password the first time you log in.

With Prosegur Smart managing your alarm is simple, you can:

 

Activate and deactivate your alarm

View images from your video detectors

Check the status of your alarm

Change your contacts for when your alarm is triggered + info

Create an alias for each alarm user (this makes it easier to identify them)
