What to do if you receive a text message about a power cut?

 

The first thing to remember is that you are fully protected because your alarm will still work properly as it has its own power feed. If the alarm is triggered, our Alarm Monitoring Centre will still be notified and will act accordingly.

We inform you about the power cut because it can be very inconvenient for you. We'll ask you to check your electrical system try to restore the power.

 

If the power cut continues for over 4 hours, we'll contact you again.

 

 

What we do if there is a power cut?


The power at your property goes off.


signal is sent to our Alarm Monitoring Centre.


We send you a text message in no more than 10 minutes.

If the power is restored very quickly, you won't receive a text message because it is unlikely to have caused any problems.


If the power cut continues for over 4 hours, we'll send another text message.
